OUR PASTORS

Pastor Joel P. Hilbun
Pastor Hilbun is Senior Pastor at Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church. He has been involved with it from its beginning in 1980 as a Bible class to help Vietnamese refugees to learn English. He is married to Mrs. Lurline Martin Hilbun and has three children, Joel David, Linda Kaye and Joy Carol. He has served as pastor in one church in Mississippi and one in Alabama, and five in Louisiana as well as serving on the staff of the local Baptist association as Coordinator of Missions and Ministries.

Pastor Vinh T. Nguyen
Pastor Vinh Nguyen is Senior Pastor at Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church. When founding Pastor and Mrs. Hao retired and moved to Florida, Vinh Nguyen was called to lead and care for the church. In March of 1998, Rev. Vinh Trong Nguyen was officially called to be the pastor of the mission, and has been serving as pastor since. He is married to Mrs. Huyen Luong, and has two children, Timothy Nguyen, and Lida Nguyen.
